shirt-collars

Collar is one of the most important parts of shirt, cause it is always presented to the view. The style of collar defines the style of the shirt, what defines your style overall. Here is a complete guide to shirt collar styles, which answers the questions: what are the types of collar, where and with what to wear different types of shirts.

Before we start, I’d like to mention that all that rules are quite conventional. And all that division into dress shirts and casual shirts quite conventional, too, because  some dress shirts can be worn in casual way with casual clothes. That has been made to make this guide somewhat easier.

Dress Shirts

Dress shirts are usually worn at the celebrations or at the office. But it is not well known that there are a lot of different dress shirt collar types that could be worn there. I found at lest 4 good types of shirt collars that could be worn in office and which will not look too trendy.

Spread

Spread collar is the most common type of shirt collar. Let’s call it middle length collar, cause it is not too shirt or too long. Just the most common length.
